This one of a kind piece features Cady Mountain Agate and Marcasite, handwoven in 0.5mm gold thread and framed in Cor 29 darkest brown 1mm cord. Together these stones carry the energy of strength, grounded presence, and the ability to recognise the treasures that surround us every day.
As I created this piece, I found myself deeply connecting with the Marcasite. Its energy continually brought me back into the present moment, reminding me to notice the small blessings, unexpected gifts, and golden moments woven throughout daily life. The true gems that are often overlooked when we become too focused on where we are going next.
The Cady Mountain Agate in this piece has been part of my personal collection for around ten years. A stone of remarkable patience, endurance, and quiet strength, it seemed to wait for exactly the right moment to become what it was always destined to be.
To me, Cady Mountain Agate carries the energy of steadfastness and resilience. It reminds us to stand firm in who we are, remain grounded through life's challenges, and trust our ability to overcome obstacles as they arise. Like ancient mountains shaped by time and experience, it teaches us that true strength is often found in patience, persistence, and unwavering presence.
Marcasite carries a reflective and grounding energy. Rather than seeking something greater or further away, it invites us to appreciate the beauty already present. It helps illuminate the glimmers, blessings, and moments of gratitude that exist within everyday life. A stone of perspective, presence, and quiet abundance.
Adding an extra layer of playful magic, the placement of the stones within this design was chosen by my children. Their intuitive choices brought an element of inner child wisdom into the piece, reminding us that sometimes the most profound truths are found through curiosity, wonder, and play.
Together these stones create a frequency of grounded strength, gratitude, resilience, patience, and trust in life's unfolding journey.
This pendant took approximately 7 hours to create.
Handwoven using 0.5mm gold cord framed in Cor 29 darkest brown 1mm cord.
